What Early Birds Get Up to – killing Christians for sport

An early bird rises I arose at 4:30 this morning after having satisfied my need for sleep. There seems little point in remaining in bed if you do not feel tired. I signed on to Channel 5 and this to be able to watch historical programs and I watched a documentary film about the winter of 1947 and the unrelenting snow that fell for the best part of seven weeks. The floods that came after were of...

A Christian morning (not in mourning)

[tta_listen_btn] This is what I was faced with when I returned from the church group. Françoise had been diligently collecting produce from the garden which includes grapes and we are going to have to use our juicer to extract the juice. They are small and who wants to spit out pips each time. I can honestly say that no two days are ever the same. Although I am under strict instructions not to...

A definitive statement of our Christian purpose – plus – was Yahweh an alien?

A friend of mine recommended an outstanding daily reference book called My Utmost for His Highest. It is source to me for inspiration and orientation. The writer is Oswald Chambers (illus.). He earns most of his living income from writing comedy scripts for the BBC...

The Christian attitude to becoming vaccinated

Last night I attended a ZOOM meeting. The conversation was slated to be on covid.  After the usual gay banter we got down to it. I told the 12 attendees that I had a covid web site and gave a demo of what it contained. I had organised a private page on my site so people could input whatever they felt was appropriate without the general public seeing it. I led a discussion on how we change...

Meeting of our Christian Men’s Group

Our group is called rather unfortunately 'Mens United BA3' which of course clashes too much with the Manchester United football team but perhaps that is something that is only going on in my head. Since forming the group a couple of years ago we have not attracted any new members; we have a core group of about 8 to 10 people who meet regularly. We met in Radstock Swallow Cafe which is a place...
