This discipline is associated with Hindu and Buddhist cultures and are believed to represent different aspects of the universe and are used as Instruments of meditation and symbols of prayer most notably in China, Japan and Tibet.

Can Bill Gates Play God?

I pride myself on keeping up to date with alternative news but sometimes I wonder whether it is worth it. Today I will send an article by a very enthusiastic guy who runs The People’s Voice which is a video channel and he’s produced a lot of useful product.

However, today’s video was entitled ” Bill Gates drafts Executive Order to make vaccine hesitancy a criminal offence in America. I checked with a friend who immediately mocked the whole thing saying that Bill Gates has no power to make an executive Order.

So the chances of this coming to fruition are pretty much zero and if RFK Junior does his stuff as Health Secretary this would be so much against the tide as to make it the stuff of dreams.

I am normally up to my ears in alternative stuff, which is very interesting and has points of truth much more so than the mainstream Media that I’ve decided partly as a result of the above illustration not to take too much notice of something when it comes from only one source. Give it time to breathe and see whether other people that I know and respect say the same thing.

Preparing for my weekend retreat.

So tomorrow, off we go to Dorset for 48 hours worth of retreat from the maddening crowd. This was from a book of the same name by Thomas Hardy. The 2015 film is set in 1870 Britain and consists of the Adventures of a farm worker who had no less than three suitors.

I’m a great believer in getting into the mindset before you ever set foot in the place, in this case a Friary. The program is as unlike a conventional program as I have seen. It starts by saying that no one is obliged to do anything and I feel that my space and needs are going to be respected.

I think you need a fairly highly aware group or people, there are 12 of us, to appreciate the finer points of this experience.

We have been invited on the Saturday morning to join the community in the chapel for half an hour silent prayer. That will be quite an experience because seven o’clock is quite early but since I normally wake up before then maybe I will enjoy it.

Anyway my decision is to go for it, experienced things I have not experienced before, and see what happens.

You will read the unadulterated truth (you wouldn’t expect anything else would you) probably on Sunday night but latest on this coming Monday. I like to write things while they’re fresh in my mind and I’ll do that as soon as I get back mid afternoon on Sunday.
