‘Slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be’
Is it somehow counter-productive to do nothing? Our brain teaches us that we must always be on the go, busy, occupied with something that can help us earn a living and thus pay the bills.
However the spirit and the mind do not function that way. The mind never switches off and is always analyzing, resolving, attempting to solve, generally doing it’s ultimate database job as it is designed to do. It can do and estimated billion billion calculations a second.
Are we treating ourselves well? I do not think we are required to focus on the particular perceived problem for example shortage of money or bad relationship. Maybe the best thing we can do for ourselves is to go for a walk, do the gardening, watch a science fiction movie. Let nature and universal consciousness speak to and with us.
If anyone cares to look at the numerous near death experiences videos you will see that any material or action not dedicated to the betterment of the human race including our friends and contacts is a waste of time.

Laziness – tending to avoid work , activity or exertion
Indolent – having or showing a disposition to avoid exertion
Idleness, similar to laziness – choosing to be inactive or Passive
Lounging around – lacking energy or bigger
Shirking – to evade work, duty, responsibility
Slacking – slow, sluggish or indolent
